REHVA Awards at 2024 Annual Meeting

During the REHVA dinner at the 2024 Annual Meeting in Istanbul, REHVA expressed its profound appreciation to several notable figures within its network. REHVA President, Catalin Lungu, presented prestigious awards to distinguished guests, recognizing their contributions to the field.

Award Recipients

Fellowship Award: Torun Widström (SWEDVAC) and Olaf Oosting (TVVL) received the Fellowship Award for their outstanding dedication and service.
Science Professional Award: Manuel Gameiro da Silva (OdE) was honored with the Science Professional Award for his significant scientific contributions.
Young Scientist Award: Jun Shinoda (DANVAK) received the Young Scientist Award, acknowledging his promising research and achievements in the field.
REHVA Gold Medal: Jarek Kurnitski, TRC Chair, was presented with the REHVA Gold Medal. 

The award ceremony included a photo opportunity with former REHVA President, Frank Hovorka, current REHVA President, Catalin Lungu, and President-Elect, Livio Mazzarella.

REHVA also congratulated the following professionals for their exceptional contributions:

Design Professional Award: Philippe Herbulot and Federico Pedranzini
Education Professional Award: Rodica Frunzulica and Jorma Säteri
Technology Professional Award: Ioan Aschilean and Luca Zordan

Supporter Award

During the same event, REHVA expressed its gratitude to its longstanding supporter, Camfil. Tobias Zimmer, representing Camfil, was awarded the Supporter Award by REHVA President, Catalin Lungu. REHVA has valued Camfil’s support since 2009 and looks forward to continuing their collaboration to promote healthy and sustainable indoor climates.

REHVA extends heartfelt congratulations to all the award recipients for their remarkable achievements and contributions to the industry.
