Rheem joins Eurovent Middle East

Rheem has joined the Eurovent chapter in the Middle East, expanding the association’s membership base to more than 45 members. Respected for reliability, Rheem is nearly a hundred years old American company that operates in three main business verticals, which are Air Conditioning, Water Heating and Refrigeration. The company owns renowned brands such as Rheem®, Ruud®, Russell, Raypak®, Richmond® and Sure Comfort®. In the Middle East region, Rheem has been serving for more than thirty years and has installed over a million tons of Air Conditioning equipment and thousands of Water Heaters through its extensive distribution and service network.

The decision by Rheem also reflects the association’s approach of open industry representation, regardless of the origin of its members. Accounting for today’s globalised economy, Eurovent Middle East is focused on providing a neutral platform for the region’s HVACR industry furthering cooperation and coordination between the industry and authorities as well as key audiences on the market.

Mohammad Farooq, Managing Director of Rheem Middle East, stated: “We appreciate the work Eurovent Middle East has done to gather the main industry players under one roof. It enables dialogue and discussions on the region’s regulatory development and provides us with opportunities to shape the future of this market together with our fellow contenders, our clients and the authorities in the Middle East.

Markus Lattner, Managing Director of Eurovent Middle East, added: “Every single member is an important part in the process we have started two years ago - bringing the industry together and work towards trust and understanding for the challenges of the future. We thank Rheem for the support and look forward to a fruitful cooperation.”

Eurovent Middle East is the region's only industry association representing leading manufacturers of Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, Food Cold Chain, Industrial Ventilation, and Building Automation Technologies, as well as sector associations and industry initiatives active in these fields. By thinking ‘Beyond HVACR', contributing manufacturers fulfil highest requirements in terms of product quality and sustainability.
