Secop Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors of Secop GmbH announced the appointment of Dr. Andreas J. Schmid as new Group Chief Executive Officer to Secop GmbH. Dr. Schmid would take on the new role from May 3, 2021.

Dr. Schmid has more than 20 years of international experience as a board member, managing director, and manager. Under his responsibility, the Funkwerk, Schaltbau, and FCT groups have grown sustainably and profitably.  In addition to strategic corporate development and the development of new business areas, he has extensive and in-depth know-how in mergers & acquisitions, PMI, portfolio management, lean management, and digitalization.

“I am proud to join the Secop team and look forward to working with the board of directors, employees, customers, and partners worldwide,” said Dr. Schmid.
