Secop’s headquarters opens a brand-new location in Flensburg, Germany

Secop’s headquarters opens a brand-new location in Flensburg, Germany. The move from current locations to the new location has already gotten underway step by step and is expected to be finalized by the end of this year.

Until now, Secop had different locations in Germany: the parent company Secop GmbH located in Flensburg and global R&D center of Motor & Drives (MCC) located in Harrislee.

Based on the business expansion of the company and further business developments planned for the upcoming years and supported by a strong commitment of our shareholders, Secop’s management decided on a new location for the Secop headquarters in Germany. The new building will enable Secop to combine all competences at one location to boost synergy effects and efficiency as well as flexibility to support expansion plans.

The new building is located in an industrial park in Flensburg that features great transport and service links. Secop selected a modern layout for the new building and interiors to represent the company’s brand pillars and to provide employees as well as visitors a perfect working and meeting environment. The new location will feature new functionalities including new show room experiences, better meeting facilities, and charging stations for electric cars, etc.

All labs from MCC (Motor Competence Center) and Application Engineering have already started moving to the new location from mid July and are expected to be finalized in September. Administration and logistic functions will start the move in September with completion to finish at the end of December.
