SODECA GROUP has reinforced its commitment to sustainability by installing over 1,000 solar panels on the rooftops of its production facilities. This photovoltaic system generates more than 500,000 kWh annually, covering around one-third of the company’s total energy consumption.
By investing in renewable energy, SODECA GROUP is reducing its environmental impact and advancing toward energy self-sufficiency. The solar energy produced by the company prevents the emission of over 200 tonnes of CO₂ per year, contributing to the fight against climate change and the transition to a more sustainable industrial model.
The company's efforts have been recognized by the Spanish national authority responsible for sustainability and climate initiatives, which has granted SODECA GROUP certification for measuring and reducing its carbon footprint.
In addition to its renewable energy initiatives, SODECA GROUP has installed electric vehicle charging points at several production sites, promoting sustainable mobility among employees and partners. These actions align with the company’s broader sustainability strategy aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of industrial activities and fostering the use of clean energy.
The company’s headquarters in Spain exemplify its environmental commitment, with its Environmental Management System certified under the ISO 14001 standard. Through these measures, SODECA GROUP continues to demonstrate that industrial excellence and sustainability can go hand in hand.
