Starfrost names Chile representative for freezing and cooling systems

UK-based Starfrost has appointed Austral Pack as its exclusive representative in Chile for automated freezing and chilling equipment. The agreement expands Starfrost’s presence in Chile’s food processing sector, including seafood, meat, poultry and bakery.

Austral Pack will support food manufacturers with sales assistance, project design and technical services, including installation, startup, service and maintenance. Starfrost said its offering includes spiral freezers and IQF tunnels.

The company said the partnership builds on its established presence in the region and is intended to expand its reach in the Chilean market. Starfrost supplies IQF and spiral freezing systems for a range of food processing applications.

“Chile is a key market for us, and Austral Pack brings the local knowledge and technical expertise we were seeking in a partner,” said Jonathan Fox, Global Sales Manager at Starfrost. “Their strong relationships within the food processing industry and their commitment to customer service align with our core values.”
