Swegon acquires Dutch HVAC supplier Western Airconditioning

Swegon has acquired Western Airconditioning, a supplier of HVAC solutions in the Netherlands, expanding its indoor climate offering in the Dutch market. Western Airconditioning has been a long-standing distributor of Swegon’s chillers and heat pumps in the country.

According to Swegon, the acquisition adds a complete indoor climate offering for the Netherlands and brings a service organisation with technical know-how. Eva Karlsson, CEO of Swegon Group, said the deal strengthens the company’s footprint in the Netherlands and adds expertise for customers in the heating and cooling segment.

Western Airconditioning was founded in 1988 and has close to 40 employees. The company reported sales of EUR 13 million [approximately USD 14 million] in 2025.

“Western Airconditioning has been a long-standing distributor of Swegon’s chillers and heat pumps in the Netherlands, and we are now happy to welcome them into the Swegon family,” said Eva Karlsson, CEO Swegon Group.
