Swegon has entered a strategic partnership with Ahlsell in Norway under which part of Swegon’s ventilation products will be distributed through Ahlsell’s national network. In connection with the partnership, Ahlsell will also take over Swegon Norway’s traded-goods business, including five sales locations and the associated employees.
The companies said the arrangement will make part of Swegon’s ventilation portfolio more widely available in Norway through Ahlsell’s distribution channels. Swegon said the partnership supports its focus on its core business while working with external partners where this adds value.
Swegon Norway said the agreement will allow the company to streamline its business and concentrate on system and solution sales, while using Ahlsell’s national presence to improve product accessibility. Ahlsell said the addition of Swegon’s ventilation products will expand its offering in Norway.
