Sweden-based Swegon Group has announced that Eva Karlsson will take over as interim CEO starting February 1, 2026. The decision follows the appointment of current CEO Andreas Örje Wellstam as Chief Investment Officer at Investment AB Latour, the owner of Swegon.
Karlsson is currently Vice President of the Business Area Air Handling, Cooling & Heating at Swegon. She joined the company in 2022, bringing prior experience from various leadership roles in manufacturing, product development, and business development. She has also served as a Board member at Assa Abloy, a company in Latour’s investment portfolio.
“As a member of Group Management, Eva has been an integral part of the positive development of Swegon Group, and with her extensive experience and knowledge, the Board and I have full trust in her ability to perform well as interim CEO,” said Johan Menckel, Chairman of the Swegon Group Board of Directors.
Örje Wellstam has been with the Latour group since 2010 and joined Swegon in 2012. He has held five management roles before becoming CEO in 2020.
“Under Andreas’ leadership, Swegon Group has almost doubled in size, while reinvigorating the corporate strategy,” Menckel added. “It has been an impressive journey, establishing Swegon as a true leader within the European indoor climate industry.”
