Trane Technologies and Autodesk Partner to Enhance Sustainable Building Design

Trane Technologies and Autodesk have announced a strategic collaboration to optimize sustainable commercial building design. By integrating Trane’s TRACE HVAC software with Autodesk Revit, the partnership aims to simplify user experiences and enable AI-assisted design, promoting efficient and sustainable building outcomes.

Oakley Roberts from Trane Technologies highlighted the collaboration's role in reducing building emissions through enhanced thermal management systems. The integration will enhance the MEP design process, facilitating better decision-making between architects and engineers while introducing AI-assisted design capabilities.

Nicolas Mangon of Autodesk emphasized that this partnership addresses key workflow gaps and enhances Autodesk's platform through AI and machine learning, empowering engineers to tackle significant industry challenges. Initially, the innovations will be available in high-BIM adoption regions like the US and Canada.
