Viessmann acquired Tschritter GmbH

The Viessmann Group takes over Tschritter GebäudeTechnik GmbH, subject to anti-trust approval. The range of services offered by the family-owned business with almost 40 years of experience covers all areas of air-conditioning and ventilation technology, industrial and commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration and cold store construction, as well as the sale and distribution of refrigerated cabinets. Tschritter comprehensively supports its customers from the planning stage through to implementation and maintenance of the projects.

"We are delighted that we will now be combining Viessmann's expertise in refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms and refrigeration systems with Tschritter's high service orientation. Together we will be able to offer our customers, including food retailers, even more comprehensive turnkey solutions for their needs. The focus is on northern Germany. it is our common goal to further expand the business of the company," says Frank Winters, CEO of Refrigeration Solutions at Viessmann.

Oliver Tschritter, son of the company founder Harald Tschritter, will go on being responsible for the management. He said: ”There is a strong need for refrigeration technology in Germany. Additionally we have the customer request for turnkey solutions from one source. In Viessmann we have found a reliable and strategically important partner to fulfill this easily understandable request extensively.

Tschritter GebäudeTechnik GmbH with headquarters in Gifhorn/Hanover was founded in 1979. More than 80 employees currently work at a total of three locations in Gifhorn, Hanover and Ahlbeck (Usedom).

Viessmann is one of the leading European manufacturers of commercial refrigeration system solutions, known for their energy efficiency and sustainable technology together with user-friendliness and maintenance. Viessmann's Tecto product and service portfolio includes remote and plug-in refrigerated cabinets, cold rooms and refrigeration systems as well as accessories and services.The refrigeration products are manufactured in Viessmann's production facilities in Germany and Finland and are represented by local sales offices in 18 countries throughout Europe, supported by an extensive network of partner companies.
