Weatherite Air Conditioning Ltd invests £250k to cater for growth

Weatherite Air Conditioning Ltd has invested £250,000 to extend an existing factory to cater for an upturn in Sales.

The company has extended its main 120,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in order cater for a growing market and create a further 4,500 sq ft of space.

Chairman John Whitehouse (pictured) said that company is seeing significant growth in the Telecommunications sector and the new storage facility, which was built in less than three months, will supplement its existing manufacturing facility to ensure turnaround times are quicker and more efficient.

“One of our main customers in the Telecommunications sector has recently placed a large single order for over £1M and we therefore needed to re-align our production processes for this innovative product by adding an additional production line adjacent to this new storage facility.

“We have exciting plans for 2019/2020 which will continue to provide growth for the company and therefore we need this additional space”.

Weatherite Air Conditioning Ltd, is part of the £40M turnover Weatherite Group, the UK’s leading HVAC, Architectural Aluminium and BMS Control Systems Groups. The Group’s core business, Weatherite Air Conditioning Ltd is expected to generate £30M of turnover in 2019.
