The ATMO Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements in the development and implementation of natural refrigerant-based systems, were presented during a ceremony on June 10 at the ATMOsphere America Summit. The awards honored excellence in four categories:
Best-in-Sector/Retail End User:
- Winner: Target
- Recipient: Cara Bastoni, Director of Engineering for Target
Best-in-Sector/Industrial End User:
- Winner: Lineage Logistics
- Recipient: Nova-Aer Teale, Director of Engineering for Lineage Logistics
Innovation of the Year:
- Winner: Dorin for its 160HP CO2 industrial compressor
- Recipient: Brian Porter, General Director of Dorin USA
Person of the Year:
- Winner: Danielle Wright, Executive Director for North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC)
The awards were determined based on industry nominations and other criteria. ATMOsphere selected the Best-in-Sector award winners, while the finalists for Person of the Year and Innovation of the Year were shortlisted by ATMOsphere and voted on online and at the ATMO America Summit.
