Women in HVACR (WHVACR), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration trades, showcases its dedication through its 13-member board of directors. Since its inception in 2002, WHVACR has been at the forefront of supporting women in skilled trades.
The executive board of directors includes five key members:
- President Lori Tschohl: Owner of Eagle Pipe & Mechanical in Poulsbo, WA, specializing in gas piping, heating, and cooling. With over 35 years of industry experience, Tschohl has driven the company’s growth and received numerous awards, including the Service Nation Women of the Year and Boundless Benefactor Award.
- Vice President Kristin Gallup: Director of Product Management for Carrier Enterprise, Gallup has over 17 years in HVAC Distribution and has been an active WHVACR member for more than a decade.
- Immediate Past President Marcia Christiansen: Business Unit Manager for PECO Control Systems, Christiansen brings 27 years of industry experience and is a technical resource for PECO.
- Secretary Tanya Steindl: Director of Marketing for Daikin Comfort Technologies’ aftermarket parts division, Steindl has been pivotal in developing private label parts and controls brands.
- Treasurer Sarah Hammond: President of Atlas Electrical, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Plumbing Services in Alton, Texas, Hammond also oversees multiple businesses and serves as CEO for the Better Business Bureau in South Texas.
