MV-Jäähdytys, part of Nordic Climate Group, has agreed to acquire the business of Lapin Kylmätekniikka in Finland. The acquisition adds an experienced local team in Lapland and expands MV-Jäähdytys’s refrigeration and heat pump service capacity in the region.
Lapin Kylmätekniikka was founded in 2019 by Juho Kauvosaari and has six employees. The company installs and maintains refrigeration equipment for food retailers, restaurants and other businesses in the region.
The acquisition is part of MV-Jäähdytys’s expansion across Finland. The company has opened seven new locations in around a year, including in Oulu and Kuopio. Adding Lapin Kylmätekniikka extends its service network further into Lapland.
“Lapin Kylmätekniikka has built the kind of local expertise and customer relationships that matter in our business. Together, we can strengthen our service offering in Lapland and provide our customers with even better refrigeration system installation, maintenance and technical support. We are very pleased to welcome Juho and the team,” says Jyrki Martikainen, CEO of MV-Jäähdytys and Country CEO of Nordic Climate Group Finland.
“We have built this business together with our team and our customers. Joining MV-Jäähdytys gives us more colleagues to exchange knowledge with and more capacity to develop our service, while keeping close to the customers who know us. We look forward to taking this next step together,” says Juho Kauvosaari, founder of Lapin Kylmätekniikka.
