The AlfaBlue BC series is a wide range of heavy-duty air cooled condensers for air conditioning and refrigeration applications. Blue condensers are available for both horizontal and vertical airflow, either in single (BCM) or dual (BCD) coil execution.

Standard configuration

An innovative coil design provides excellent heat transfer at minimal refrigerant charge. AlfaBlue BC condensers are fitted with cross-fin copper tubing. Available with two Alu-fin types:
- Turbo fins for maximized capacity
- Industrial power fins (IF) for long lasting performance
- Casing
Frame construction provides high rigidity for protection against vibration and thermal expansion. Casing and framework of corrosion resistant pre-galvanized sheet steel , epoxy coated white RAL 9002 on both sides. Separated fan sections. - Fan motors
High efficiency AC or EC fan motors, available in different fan diameters (800, 910 & 1000 mm) and noise levels, power supply 400/50/3. Motors with external rotor, protection class IP 54 according to DIN 40050. Integrated thermo contacts provide reliable protection against thermal overload.

Air coolers and air-cooled condensers are key components in air cooling and airconditioning systems. On the refrigerant side the most common media are a brine or an evaporating refrigerant like HFOs, HFCs, ammonia or CO2. A chilled brine may be supplied from a chiller that is potentially located far away, but a liquified refrigerant must come from a nearby condensing unit. When an evaporating refrigerant is used, the cooling coil is the evaporator in the vapour-compression refrigeration cycle (‘direct expansion’ or ‘DX’ system).
