Carrier Introduces Made in India Scroll Chiller Engineered for India's Cooling Needs

Carrier Airconditoning & Refrigeration Limited (“Carrier India”) proudly announces the launch of the Made in India – 30 RB Air-Cooled Modular Scroll Chiller. This product is meticulously crafted to cater to the dynamic needs of the Indian market, establishing new benchmarks in cooling efficiency and reliability, and adding value to segments such as Railways, MES, Metro, and more.

Carrier India has been running its manufacturing facility in Gurugram, Haryana, India for more than 35 years, focusing on commercial equipment including chillers, cassettes, ductables and fan coil units. With an unwavering dedication to local manufacturing, Carrier persistently invests in innovation. The recently unveiled 30RB Modular Scroll Chiller stands as a testament to this commitment, offering a reliable and efficient solution for cooling processes. With a special focus on the needs of different Industrial processes, this product plays a significant role in supporting the “Vocal for Local Initiative” of the Government of India.

Tailored specifically for different weather conditions in India, the Carrier Modular Scroll Chiller sets a new standard for versatility and performance. With the capability to combine up to 16 units in one module, it ensures seamless operation, guaranteeing uninterrupted performance across a wide temperature range from 10°C to 48°C, thereby optimizing cooling efficiency in diverse environmental conditions. To further enhance the reliability aspect, these units are equipped with Shell-&-Tube heat exchangers, ensuring seamless operation even with poor water quality.

Featuring advanced components such as a high-precision electronic expansion valve and a V-shaped condenser, the Carrier Scroll Chiller maximizes efficiency and heat exchange effectiveness. Moreover, robust protection mechanisms, including water flow switch and anti-freezing program, enhance the system’s performance and stability.

Under the new Chiller Star Labeling Program, these chillers are anticipated to fall under the 3 & 4-star categories, positioning them as top-of-the-line chillers in the modular scroll chiller segment.

Dhiraj Wadhwa, Director of Applied Sales and Overseas Markets at Carrier, emphasized the significance of localizing the product, "The localization of our offering, Made in India, Made for India - instills confidence in our customers. Adapting our products to meet local needs has garnered a positive reception, solidifying Carrier as a reliable and trustworthy choice."
