Carrier will introduce its advanced CO2OLtech EVO transcritical CO2 systems

Carrier Commercial Refrigeration will promote innovative and sustainable new products and technologies including tailor-made solutions for a wide range of retail and industrial refrigeration applications at EuroShop 2017 in Düsseldorf.

Among the new products it will highlight, Carrier will introduce its advanced CO2OLtech EVO transcritical CO2 systems, featuring the newly developed adjustable modulating ejector technology. This new technology increases system energy efficiency making the CO2 systems a viable alternative in warmer climates as well as providing heat reclaim advantages in cold and mild climates. CO2 systems use the natural refrigerant CO2, which is a safe and non-ozone depleting gas with a global warming potential (GWP) of one, making it the baseline against which the GWP of all other refrigerants are measured. The GWP of CO2 is also lower than the GWP of other natural refrigerants, such as hydrocarbons. As such, there is no global warming impact resulting from any potential refrigerant leaks. The environmentally sustainable solutions are designed to maximize product display, enhance the retail environment and increase shoppeRer comfort, while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption. Carrier will also present a complete range of new medium-temperature multi-deck and semi-vertical cabinets, a range of plug-in cabinets and a fully operational refrigerated locker solution for e-commerce applications. In addition, the stand will feature a wide range of serve-over and self-service counters and plug-in solutions, a semi plug-in range and after-sales services.   Read More
