Hillphoenix launches Next Generation Flex Mini CO2 system in the US

Hillphoenix, part of Dover Food Retail and Dover, has launched the Next Generation Flex Mini, a CO2 transcritical refrigeration system designed for food retail and industrial applications. The company said the platform aims to provide a versatile and future-ready solution while maximizing operational uptime and reducing total cost of ownership.

According to Hillphoenix, the Flex Mini platform features a compact design and supports multiple compressor brand options. The system is intended to offer flexibility for operators while incorporating a maintenance-focused configuration.

The unit includes a maintenance-free, filter-less oil separator and integrated bypass valves designed to enable faster servicing and help maintain system uptime. It also supports two compressor brand configurations, allowing customers to choose based on technical requirements or brand preference.

The system uses low-pressure ejector technology intended to reduce energy consumption. Additional configuration options include multiple voltage selections, as well as optional weatherproof and soundproof cabinetry and a cold-weather kit designed for operation in different environments.

“The Next Generation Flex Mini represents a significant step forward in our mission to provide accessible, high-efficiency natural refrigerant solutions,” said Senthilkumar K Shanmugam, Senior Product Manager at Hillphoenix. “It combines high-performance cooling with a design that is easier to service and more efficient to operate.”
