Clivet presented new reversible air-cooled heat pump

Large EVO (WiSAN-YEE1) range is the new air cooled reversible heat pump for outdoor installation, with R32 refrigerant.

It is the ideal solution to meet different kind of applications thanks to full inverter technology on compressors and fans and wide operating envelope.

Large EVO offers high seasonal efficiency both in cooling and heating operation: SEER up to 4.51 and SCOP up to 4.22.

The capacity range varies according to the 3 selectable acoustic levels:

• Acoustic configuration with compressor soundproofing (SC): Range 115 - 233 kW
• Silenced acoustic configuration (LN): Range 110 - 224 kW
• Super-silenced acoustic configuration (EN): Range 103 - 208 kW

Further strengths

The use of R32 refrigerant, with a low GWP (Global Warming Potential = 675), guarantees an environmental impact that is about -70% compared to traditional R-410A refrigerant (GWP = 2088).

Inverter rotary/scroll compressors, high efficiency DC fans with variable speed control, Copper aluminum coils with hydrophilic treatment as standard, are some of the technologies available that allow to:

• Perfectly match the cooling load of the plant in any condition
• Follow the load also with a great staging
• Ensure high efficiency values, reducing operating costs
• Ensure negligible start-up current 

The Large EVO range offers 3 acoustic levels, without changing the unit dimensions:

• Acoustic configuration with compressor soundproofing (SC): basic version
• Silenced acoustic configuration (LN): -4 dB (A) compared to SC
• Super-silenced acoustic configuration (EN): -8 dB (A) compared to SC

Thanks to the capacity modulation from 100% to 20%, the double refrigerant circuit, the extended operating limits are able to satisfy the requirement of multiple operating conditions.

Due to dedicated design which has as main target optimized heating performances, the new Large EVO is able to produce:

• Leaving water temperature up to 60°C from -4°C to 30°C ambient
• Leaving water temperature up to 55°C from -7°C to 40°C ambient 
• Leaving water temperature up to 53°C down to -10°C ambient
• Operating to -20°C ambient with a leaving water temperature up to 45°C

Many options and accessories are available:

• Hydropack with 1 on/off pump, low or high head
• Hydropack with 1 inverter pump, low or high head
• Hydropack with 1+1 on/off pump (1 pump in stand-by), low or high head
• Hydropack with 1+1 inverter pump (1 pump in stand-by), low or high head
• Storage tank 
• Partial heat recovery
• Drain tray with electric heater
• Additional condensing coil treatment for aggressive ambients
• 3-way valve for domestic hot water production

Large EVO is designed to connect up to 8 units in a local network, reaching a maximum system capacity of 1864 kW.
