Copeland launches GO Real-Time GL trackers for global cold chains

Copeland has launched its GO Real-Time GL and GO Real-Time GL XL cargo trackers, monitoring solutions designed for temperature- and humidity-sensitive shipments in the food and pharmaceuticals supply chain.

The trackers use global long-term evolution (LTE) cellular technology and 4G networks to support data transmission and geolocation performance across global supply chains. Copeland said the launch comes as telecommunications networks gradually transition away from legacy 2G infrastructure.

GO Real-Time GL is optimized for shipments lasting up to 20 days and uses an alkaline battery suited for faster approvals in air freight applications. GO Real-Time GL XL uses a lithium battery for extended-duration shipments, offering up to 90 days of in-use life and monitoring capabilities down to deep-freeze conditions.

Both devices monitor temperature, humidity, movement, light, security and location. They transmit real-time alerts and shipment data to Copeland’s cloud-based Oversight360 platform, which supports risk detection, carrier and lane performance benchmarking, partner visibility and supply chain decision-making.

“These new global trackers reflect how we’re combining deep cold chain expertise with advanced, globally supported connectivity to address evolving supply chain demands,” said Alex Axelsson, senior product manager at Copeland. “As telecommunications networks transition and supply chains grow more complex, customers need reliable, real-time visibility they can depend on. By pairing global 4G connectivity with the analytics power of Copeland’s Oversight360, we’re helping them protect sensitive goods, reduce waste and operate with greater confidence across their supply chains.”

GO Real-Time GL and GO Real-Time GL XL trackers are now available worldwide.
