Daikin Applied (UK) has introduced the HTM-Pro T Series, a compact air handling unit (AHU) designed to meet NHS HTM 03-01 ventilation standards for healthcare environments. Manufactured in the UK, the unit prioritizes hygiene, energy efficiency, and ease of maintenance while addressing space constraints in healthcare facilities.
The HTM-Pro T Series features a reduced footprint, with widths starting from 1100 mm and lengths from 3840 mm, making it suitable for restricted plantrooms. Duct connections positioned on top and side pipework outlets enable wall-adjacent installation, which supports refurbishment applications in hospitals.
The unit includes tool-free, removable drain trays for simplified hygiene maintenance, built-in LED lighting to aid servicing visibility, and a filter frame design that allows filter changes without reaching into the unit. It supports two-stage filtration with ePM10 70% (M5) and F7 (ePM1 55%) filters and delivers up to 80% thermal energy recovery.
Produced in Cramlington, UK, the AHU is available as a single-cabinet unit to simplify delivery and installation. Local manufacturing also enables shorter lead times and alignment with UK-specific healthcare requirements.
“HTM-Pro T Series is the result of listening to healthcare clients and engineering a solution that truly fits modern hospital environments,” said Adam Carney, AHU Product Manager at Daikin Applied (UK). “It offers a reliable, UK-manufactured option where space, hygiene and compliance are equally critical.”
