Fujitsu General Introduces Stylish ‘Soft Black’ Wall Mount for AIRSTAGE Range

Fujitsu General Air Conditioning UK has expanded its AIRSTAGE wall mount range with a new 'soft-black' version. This new unit (model ASEH**KMCG-B) can be connected to both split and multi-split systems and operates on the lower GWP R32 refrigerant, with capacities ranging from 2 to 4.2kW.

One of the standout features of the new model is its compact design, with a chassis depth of just 220mm. This is achieved through the innovative high-density multipath heat exchanger. Additionally, the unit boasts built-in Wi-Fi, which allows it to be controlled via the AIRSTAGE Mobile app. Service and maintenance are also simplified, as refrigerant cycle data can be displayed on a compatible wired controller.

The unit offers impressive performance, with cooling capabilities down to -10°C and up to 50°C, and heating starting from -15°C. It achieves a high Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of up to 8.4 in heating mode and a Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) of 4.6 for cooling, thanks to its large louvre design.

Efficiency and quiet operation are enhanced by the large cross-flow fan, which ensures effective airflow at noise levels as low as 20dB(A) in cooling mode. Installation is made easier and more cost-effective with a 20m pipe length and 10m elevation capability, and the units are pre-charged for 15m of pipework, eliminating potential additional installation costs for refrigerant charges.

The unit also features an ion deodorising filter and an apple catechin filter, both of which help to break down odours and capture fine dust particles using static electricity.

Commenting on the launch, Martyn Ives, Commercial Director at Fujitsu, said: “The soft-black unit certainly attracted a lot of attention on the stand at InstallerSHOW. The matt texture of the fascia means that it doesn’t reflect ceiling lights as the mirror-style units do and it fits in with what customers are demanding in terms of interior design.”

With these advanced features and stylish design, the new soft-black AIRSTAGE wall mount unit is set to meet both functional and aesthetic demands of modern consumers.
