Haier launches new R32-based MRV7S-H VRF system in Europe

Haier HVAC Solutions Europe has launched its new MRV7S-H VRF system, developed to comply with the European F-Gas Regulation 573/2024. Designed for the European market, the system operates with R32 refrigerant (GWP = 675), and aims to combine energy efficiency, safety, and installation flexibility across a wide range of applications.

The MRV7S-H range is available in 4, 5, and 6 HP single fan and 8, 10, and 12 HP double fan models, all with front discharge. It is compatible with various indoor unit types, including wall-mounted, cassette, and ducted units, and supports extended piping lengths up to 400 meters. The system is modular and scalable, offering flexible installation options suitable for both compact and large-scale projects.

The system integrates a Twin-rotary DC inverter compressor and a high-efficiency stepless axial fan to optimise energy use and reduce noise. Haier states the MRV7S-H delivers up to 17% higher energy efficiency compared to previous models and includes features designed to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.

Safety features include a multi-zone leak detection system with visual and audible alarms, integrated into indoor units and controllers. An optional automatic shut-off valve with battery-powered emergency operation allows for refrigerant zone segregation, enhancing safety during power outages.

For installation, the MRV7S-H incorporates Space-Link technology, offering greater flexibility in wiring without traditional daisy-chain configurations. Automatic addressing streamlines commissioning by assigning indoor unit addresses automatically, and self-cleaning functions for both indoor and outdoor units aim to improve air quality and reduce maintenance.

All new R32 MRV indoor units are backward compatible with R410A, and the updated controllers support both refrigerants with a new communication protocol designed for faster data transfer and zero-latency control. The system also features AVRA-AI for refrigerant management and advanced communication protocols.

Albert Sanchez, European MRV Product Manager, said: "The new R32 MRV7S-H is set to become an integral part of the Haier HVAC commercial portfolio, integrating intelligent technologies into a future-ready system that meets the needs of installers and future builds. It provides a safe, practical, and efficient solution for various projects and is highly competitive in the market. We look forward to sharing use cases in the near future."
