LG Electronics presented a lineup of residential and commercial HVAC systems for the European market at MCE 2026 in Italy, held from March 24 to 27. The display included residential and commercial products designed for Europe’s electrification trends and different installation environments, including LG’s 2026 iF Design Award-winning indoor units for air-to-water heat pump systems.
For residential heating, LG expanded its hot water offering with the R290-based Therma V Monobloc S. According to the company, the unit could be combined with a buffer tank, domestic hot water tank and controller for space heating and hot water supply. LG also displayed new Control, Hydro and Combi Units for air-to-water heat pump systems, each with a 6.8-inch (approx. 17.3 cm) color touchscreen. The Combi Unit supported space heating, cooling and hot water supply, the Hydro Unit had a front-access design and bracket-type mounting system, and the Control Unit included built-in heater control logic.
The company said the indoor units had a compact form factor and came with Wi-Fi and LG ThinQ connectivity for remote monitoring, commissioning and system management. LG’s residential water heater lineup for Europe included heat pump and electric models. The heat pump water heater used R290 refrigerant, which the company described as having a low Global Warming Potential, and LG also introduced an EEBUS-compliant gateway for energy control and smart grid compatibility.
In residential air conditioning, LG featured the DUALCOOL AI, ARTCOOL AI and ARTCOOL Gallery. These models used AI Air technology to adjust airflow direction, speed and temperature based on usage patterns and indoor conditions. LG said ThinQ connectivity also allowed users to control the systems remotely, manage energy consumption and monitor air quality.
For commercial applications, LG highlighted the redesigned Multi V i VRF system with R32 refrigerant, refrigerant leak sensors and automated protection responses. In partnership with Hoval, the company also demonstrated connectivity between Multi V i and Hoval air handling units. LG’s commercial lineup at the show also included the ACP i controller with an AI-optimized interface and Inverter Scroll Heat Pump Chillers with modular expansion for larger-scale applications.
