Modine, a US-based thermal management company, has introduced new CRAC and CRAH systems for edge data centers in North America under its Airedale by Modine brand. The EdgeDX and EdgeAire units are designed to meet the rising demand for compact, scalable, and energy-efficient cooling solutions in space-constrained IT environments.
EdgeDX is a high-efficiency computer room air conditioner (CRAC) series offering 30kW to 95kW of cooling capacity. It features flexible airflow configurations and uses low-GWP refrigerants, exceeding U.S. Department of Energy efficiency standards. EdgeAire, a computer room air handler (CRAH) series, delivers 50kW to 300kW of cooling capacity and includes space-saving design, advanced airflow management, and energy-saving controls.
Both series support modular deployment to simplify system integration. The systems are backed by Modine’s North American distribution network, providing sales and service support across the region.
“Our U.S.-based manufacturing strategy ensures supply continuity and rapid response,” said Art Laszlo, Group Vice President, Global Data Centers. “As a full-system provider of air and liquid cooling solutions with intelligent controls across the thermal chain, Airedale by Modine is uniquely positioned to support the fast-paced evolution of the data center industry.”
