Multi-Wing's MW 800 OPMi Axial Fan Debuts with Superior Performance and Reduced Noise

Multi-Wing introduces its latest axial fan solution, the MW 800 OPMi (one-piece-molded inlet) Compact Axial Fan, at AHR in booth S9721. MW 800 OPMi surpasses the limits of low operating noise and high efficiency in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), data centers, wind power, power generators and radiator applications. Available worldwide, this reliable axial fan solution can be customized to meet your needs.

Robust and lightweight, MW 800 OPMi axial fans are offered with 2.2 kW (2.9 hp) and 3 kW (4.0 hp) PM motors with EC technology. The EC drive is mounted outside the airflow to eliminate impact from airflow temperature and high humidity. AC motors will also be available in the future. The inlet is UL compliant and constructed of a composite material, and structural parts are made of pressure die-cast aluminum. With an aerodynamic, high-efficiency design, the impellers are provided with medium- or high-pressure profiles. The motor supports and protection grid are aerodynamically optimized. The MW 800 OPMi has replaceable components for maximum serviceability and is available with additional corrosion resistance for harsh environments.

“Our new MW 800 OPMi Compact Axial Fans are designed to exceed market demands for lower operating noise and higher efficiency,” says Martin Ochs, director of air cooling systems for Multi-Wing GmbH. “Lightweight, yet durable, the solution is engineered and constructed to provide access to all components for easier maintenance.”
