New Electronic Units for Secop BD35F, BD35K, BD50F, and BD80CN Compressors

The present generation of electronic units for our BD35F/K, BD50F, and BD80CN range is based on ST7 microcontroller technology. Due to the end of life of this ST7 microcontroller, Secop has developed new electronic units (101N0680 and 101N0242) based on STM32 microcontroller technology. The key improvements of the new electronic units are:
• New yet trusted 32-bit ArmCortex-M0 microcontroller platform
• Full technology upgrade using latest generation components with long term availability
• Enhanced electromagnetic interference (EMI) performance
• New, stable, and powerful fan output, now referring to battery minus, to support a wide range of fans
• The new electronic units will have a similar housing, creating more space for assembly in the lower part. (see figure 1 and 2)
• Fit and function is backwards compatible The 101N0680 ECU will come with UL and CB approval.

The production changeover of both electronic units will be in April 2022. From this time on the old 101N0650 and 101N0212 electronic unit will no longer be available.

New Electronic Unit for Secop BD1.4F- VSD Compressors

The present generation of electronic units for our BD1.4F-VSD compressors is for the main part based on ST7 microcontroller technology. Due to end of life of this ST7 microcontroller, Secop has developed a new electronic unit (101N2130) based on STM32 microcontroller technology.
• The new electronic units will have a similar housing, (see figure)
• Fit and function is backwards compatible

The production changeover of the electronic units will be in October 2021. From this time on the old 101N2100 electronic unit will no longer be available.
