Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has expanded its ECOi-W air-cooled heat pump range with the launch of the ECOi-W AQUA-Z EVO. Manufactured in Italy, the new units offer inverter technology and are available in capacities from 40 to 50 kW, extending the R32 line to cover commercial applications from 40 to 380 kW.
The new models feature inverter-driven compressors designed to optimize energy savings, maintain stable temperature control, and support reliable operation under varying load conditions. According to Panasonic, the units achieve seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP) values up to 4.52 and seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) up to 5.651.
With a height of 1.7 m and a footprint of 2.43 m², the ECOi-W AQUA-Z EVO offers one of the most compact designs in its class, aiming to support flexible installation in limited spaces.
The system operates in heating mode with leaving water temperatures up to 58°C, even when outdoor air reaches 40°C. In cooling mode, it supports water outlet temperatures down to -10°C and functions in outdoor conditions from -15°C to 48°C.
The new units are produced at Panasonic’s factory in Italy to ensure compliance with local standards and reduced lead times.
