Panasonic Launches Jet Air Stream Units for PACi NX Installations

Panasonic has announced the commercial availability of its Jet Air Stream Indoor Units for PACi NX systems, following their initial debut at Chillventa. Designed for installation starting December, the new units target large-scale environments requiring consistent and efficient climate control.

Product Overview

The Jet Air Stream series is engineered for use in expansive spaces such as warehouses, factories, and gyms. With airflow capacity reaching up to 5,000 m³/h and a throw distance of up to 30 meters (98.4 ft), the units aim to ensure even temperature distribution across large volumes.

Models are available in three configurations—Smart, Standard, and Ducted—each supporting two capacities: 14 kW (approx. 47,800 BTU/h) and 25 kW (approx. 85,300 BTU/h). The Smart models feature self-directing motorised nozzles to reduce air stratification and maintain comfort in occupied zones.

Technical Features

All variants include energy-efficient EC fans and are compatible with ducted installations, allowing for application-specific flexibility. The units are also designed for quiet operation while delivering high performance. Control is managed via an advanced touch panel interface, enhancing usability for facility managers and technicians.

“These new Jet Air Stream units reflect Panasonic’s commitment to sustainable and effective HVAC solutions tailored to industrial and commercial environments,” said a company spokesperson. “With energy-saving components and intelligent air distribution, the system addresses the key challenges of climate control in large, open spaces.”

The Jet Air Stream Indoor Units are now available across Panasonic’s European distribution network.
