Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has introduced the Aquarea Domestic Hot Water (DHW) Heat Pump, expanding its residential heating portfolio with a complete R290 heat pump and integrated DHW tank. The new unit is available in floor-standing or wall-mounted versions and is designed to provide efficient hot water heating for households.
The Aquarea DHW Heat Pump features an A+ energy rating and operates within a wide ambient temperature range from -7°C to 43°C. It delivers water temperatures up to 65°C as a standalone unit, and up to 75°C when used with an additional heating element.
Installation flexibility includes vertical or horizontal air ducts and ductless configurations. The system incorporates a dry inspection design to simplify maintenance. Its enamelled water tank includes a replaceable magnesium anode for corrosion protection.
User control is managed through an intuitive touch interface with six operational modes and five functions. The unit supports PV contact and is compatible with external recirculation pumps. With an additional coil, it can integrate into hybrid systems or connect to solar thermal collectors.
