PHNIX Applied R290 Refrigerant In GreenTherm Series Heat Pump to Reduce Carbon Emission and Curb Global Warming
PHNIX, as leading heat pump manufacturer in China, is leveraging its expertise to help protect the climate by introducing the natural refrigerant R290 to our heat pump product range. “In the beginning of 2021, we brought to the global stage R290 GreenTherm Series, which is our first heat pump product to use R290, we were the first Chinese heat pump manufacturer that lauched R290 heat pump to the global market. ” Says Jab Fan, Vice Director PHNIX Overseas Sales & Marketing Department.
R290, a high purity propane(C3H8), is the potential refrigerant in the industry. It is a hydrocarbon refrigerant that has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and very low Global Warming Potential (GWP). The GWP of R290 is 3 only whereas the current alternatives such as R410A and R32 are 675, proving that R290 is far more eco-friendly than other refrigerants. And the properties of propane making R290 the potential refrigerant in the industry. Using R290 also means R290 GreenTherm Series is more highly efficient than traditional refrigerant products.
