Sanhua expands GBV stainless steel ball valve range up to 42mm

Sanhua has announced the full-size availability of its GBV stainless steel ball valves, now covering connection sizes from 6 mm to 42 mm. Designed for commercial air conditioning, freezing, deep-freezing, and other refrigeration systems, the GBV series is certified by UL and PED and supports all common refrigerants with a maximum pressure rating of 49 bar.

The GBV valves feature a straightway, full-port design that minimizes pressure drop and ensures efficient flow. The all-stainless steel body with copper connectors offers durability and corrosion resistance, while the advanced welding process contributes to low internal leakage rates and smooth valve operation.

Installation is simplified thanks to the lead-free construction that eliminates the need for solder cooling protection in models without access fittings. The lightweight design improves vibration resistance, reducing fixation requirements. Additional features include bi-directional flow capability and maintenance-friendly components such as an anti-falling valve cap and anti-rotating valve stem.

According to Sanhua, the environmentally friendly, lead-free design of the GBV valves reduces carbon emissions by approximately 50% compared to brass ball valves.
