Smardt Launches AeroPure AF Series of Air-Cooled Chillers

Smardt Chiller Group has introduced the AeroPure AF Series, a new line of air-cooled chillers equipped with oil-free, magnetically suspended compressors. The series includes 72 preconfigured models: 36 designed for data center cooling with capacities from 211 to 2500 kW (60 to 710 TR), and 36 for comfort air conditioning ranging from 211 to 1800 kW (60 to 510 TR).

The AeroPure AF Series builds on the company’s previous AE Series and offers higher energy efficiency, with an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) between 10.1 and 13.4, and Integrated Part Load Values (IPLV) from 19.3 to 25.9 under AHRI conditions. Under specific test conditions - 88°F entering water temperature (EWT), 74°F leaving water temperature (LWT), and 113°F outside air temperature (OAT) - the chillers reach EER values up to 16. The units are certified by AHRI, ETL, and CE.

Optional features include configurations for extreme temperature conditions, harmonic filters, ultra-quiet variable-speed fans, and proprietary technologies like Smardt Cool for low-ambient performance and Smardt Fast Restart for resilience after power interruptions.

Designed with modularity and serviceability in mind, the chillers have a footprint optimized for installation in confined mechanical spaces. Most configurations can be shipped in standard 20- or 40-foot high-cube containers. The design allows easy access to all major components for on-site maintenance.

Control systems are integrated via the Smardt Global Controls Platform, enabling connectivity to building management or data center infrastructure management (DCIM) systems and providing direct user access on the unit.

Standard models in the AeroPure AF Series have an ex-factory lead time of approximately 12 weeks.
