SPX Cooling Technologies has introduced OlympusV, a new series of adiabatic cooling systems designed for commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, HVAC, and industrial process applications.
The OlympusV product line includes three models: Recold OlympusV CO2 Cooler, Recold OlympusV Condenser, and Marley OlympusV Fluid Cooler. Each model is available in various sizes and coil types, depending on the application.
According to SPX Cooling, OlympusV systems combine the water-saving benefits of air-cooled systems with the energy efficiency of water-cooled solutions. The units are designed to operate dry during most of the year, using water only when ambient temperatures and cooling loads are highest.
All units come equipped with the CoolBoost Opti AD control panel, enabling operators to choose between Water Conservation Mode and Energy Conservation Mode. These smart controls allow system settings to be optimized for site-specific conditions.
Design features include electronically commutated (EC) fans to minimize maintenance and sound levels, stainless steel coils for durability, and a recirculating water distribution system intended to extend adiabatic pad life by reducing scale.
“These products can be effectively applied in a variety of conditions, even in hot and dry environments, because of their flexible operating modes,” said Marshal Zabel, Senior Global Product Manager at SPX Cooling.
