SWEP, a global supplier of brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs) and part of Dover Corporation, has introduced the All-Stainless B4TS model, aimed at cooling systems in the electronics and semiconductor industries.
The B4TS unit is compact and frameless, designed to operate with R744 (CO2) and built for high-pressure environments. It addresses demands for sustainable refrigeration solutions in applications using deionized water as a coolant, which is common in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.
Engineered to resist corrosion from deionized water, the B4TS also enables the use of CO2 in a second circuit. According to SWEP, its design optimizes heat transfer efficiency per kilogram while minimizing material consumption. The exchanger is suited for use as an evaporator, condenser, or gas cooler in advanced cooling systems.
“Natural refrigerants are expanding across all applications and markets SWEP serves as customers continue to seek compliant solutions,” said Joakim Palmberg, SWEP Marketing Director. “SWEP is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art products that support the rapid evolution of the electronics and semiconductor industries, playing a central role in enabling customers to transition to environmentally responsible technologies. The SWEP B4TS clearly exemplifies this commitment.”
