SCREWLine4-i (WDAT-iZ4) is the new air cooled liquid chiller for outdoor installation, with HFO R1234ze refrigerant, and inverter screw compressor. WDAT-iZ4 series is available from 204 kW up to 1055 kW and is the best solution for seasonal efficiency, being able to propose SEER values up to 5.24.
The use of R1234ze refrigerant, with a very low GWP (Global Warming Potential < 1), guarantees a quite zero environmental impact, making it the best choice for all future-oriented systems that are looking for an eco-sustainable solution.

The use of inverter compressors allows to drastically reduce the sound levels at partial loads compared to units equipped with fixed speed compressors (-5 dB (A) with load <60%). Ideal for all noise-sensitive applications.
Capacity load from 100% to 15% and wide operating range from +50°C (full load) to -10°C of external air temperature, are able to satisfy the requirement of multiple operating conditions. Many options and accessories are available to suit the needs of each plant.
The space savings are an increasingly important aspect in the design of the building.

From 2018 the Commission Regulation 2281:2016, also known as Ecodesign LOT 21, set minimum seasonal efficiency levels to place products on the European market. The minimum seasonal efficiency levels will increase further from 2021 (Tier 2). WDAT-iZ4 is already conforming today to both requirements.
All WDAT-iZ4 models satisfy prerequisites 2 and 3 of Energy and Environment thematic area. Furthermore, they match the parameters of Credit 4 that allows to achieve 2 points (Leed 2009). The correlated data are included in the technical bulletin.
