According to Toby Peters, Professor at the University of Birmingham and Heriot Watt University, “Cooling and Cold chain are critical services as vital as potable water and mobility to our ability to function in a fast-warming world”. The event offered a unique opportunity to meet fellow dignitaries and leading experts in the field of food and vaccine cold chain solutions.
The conference has helped to identify gaps in knowledge and research needs which, if addressed, could move the needle globally on making progress towards well-adapted and resilient populations worldwide.
