Adaptation 2025: Call for Abstracts Now Open
The International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), in association with the UK Institute of Refrigeration (IOR), has announced that abstract submissions are now being accepted for the first-ever IIR International Conference on Refrigeration Adapting to Rising Temperatures. This pioneering event will take place in Manchester, UK, from August 10th to 13th, 2025.

As global temperatures rise, the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump (RACHP) sector is confronted with increasing challenges. The conference aims to address these issues by fostering dialogue and promoting innovation among professionals dedicated to developing sustainable, climate-resilient solutions.

Call for Abstracts

The organizers are seeking abstracts that present case studies, innovations, research, and expert perspectives on topics that intersect refrigeration technology and climate change adaptation. Contributions should align with one of the following themes:
  • Managing Risk
  • Environmental and Social Governance
  • The Future Landscape of RACHP

Key Dates

  • November 1, 2024: Abstract submission deadline
  • December 10, 2024: Notification of abstract acceptance and manuscript submission instructions
  • February 1, 2025: Manuscript submission deadline
  • March 10, 2025: Notification of acceptance or rejection of manuscripts
  • April 12, 2025: Deadline for submitting revised manuscripts
