AEFYT and ACTECIR present the third online course on CO2 refrigeration facilities

AEFYT, the Association of Refrigeration Companies and their Technology, and ACTECIR, the Catalan Association of Energy, Climatization and Refrigeration Technology, present a new course within their intense collaboration on continuous training for companies. This is the 3rd Course on CO2 Refrigeration Installations, which will take place in digital format. The training will be given on the AEFYT virtual platform between March 2, 2020 and April 27, 2021, with a total of 30 teaching hours distributed in 8 sessions.

The course is aimed at technical office staff, start-up and maintenance of refrigeration and similar companies to introduce them to one of the most demanded technologies at this time due to the high energy efficiency and good performance that they present in different scenarios, such as supermarkets.

The course program takes an in-depth journey through CO2 in refrigeration, from the properties of carbon dioxide, safety in its use, transcritical and subcritical cycles, facilities, assembly and maintenance; in addition to the usual questions in the AEFYT courses on energy efficiency and the study of practical cases.

“We are very satisfied with the collaboration with ACTECIR in terms of training. Together, we are reaching a large number of professionals interested in training in new cold technologies and we are making the most of the possibilities offered by online training ”, said Manuel Lamúa, manager of AEFYT and director of the course.

The course will be taught by Ricardo Giménez, an engineer with great technical and teaching experience and professor of Industrial Refrigeration at the Clot Professional Technical School. In addition, he is a member of the RSIF Writing Working Group and author of various publications related to refrigeration technology.
