AREA will join other international organizations to highlight opportunities for women in the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump (RACHP) sector at the International Network for Women in Cooling (INWIC) stand during Chillventa. INWIC will be among over 900 exhibitors at the trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany, from October 8 to 10, 2024.
As a founding partner of INWIC, AREA supports the network's initiatives aimed at mentoring women and promoting leadership roles within the industry. INWIC Board members will engage with visitors to discuss their mentorship programs and the importance of attracting new specialists to the RACHP sector, which plays a vital role in providing comfort and supporting life-saving technologies while advancing environmental protection.
INWIC also emphasizes best practices in the industry to ensure essential cooling services are environmentally sustainable. Visitors are encouraged to visit INWIC at Stand 9-125 in Hall 9 to explore membership and learn how to support INWIC events.
Chillventa will feature a comprehensive supporting program, including research presentations on new techniques and successful technology adoption. The event attracts global attendees to network with industry experts and see the latest products and solutions from exhibitors. Topics will include applications, training, and industry codes of practice. Notably, a forum titled "A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO DIGITISATION" will provide advice for skilled trade businesses. Additionally, reflecting INWIC’s goals, the fair will introduce "reverse recruiting," allowing companies to advertise vacancies to skilled personnel.
