ATMOsphere Europe Summit to Address EU’s Phase Down of SuperPolluting Refrigerants

The 11th edition of the ATMOsphere Europe Summit, taking place online on September 28-29, will feature a discussion of the European Union (EU)’s F-Gas Regulation, which manages the phase down of powerful greenhouse gases known as hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

ATMOsphere Europe is organised by shecco, a Brussels, Belgium-based accelerator of natural refrigerant and clean cooling technologies.

At the conference, key representatives will discuss the latest developments in the F-Gas Regulation review, as well as standards impacting natural refrigerant adoption in Europe.

ATMOsphere Europe will also address the impact of hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) – the latest generation of fluorinated refrigerants – on health, safety and the environment, and the need to use natural refrigerants instead, among other topics.

The online summit is expected to attract attendees from all over Europe, including end users, policy makers, manufacturers, researchers, academia, NGOs, quote associations, media and consultants.

Registration is open here.

Other topics in the conference programme include:

• Keynote presentation
• Market mega trends
• Natural refrigerant technology trends
• Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration case study sessions
• End user best practices
• Training
• HVAC and heat pumps
• Transport and motor vehicle AC
• CEO interview with Teko.

The first speakers have already been announced, and more are added every week. The complete programme can be found here.
