Chillventa 2024 Set for Grand Launch with Fully Booked Halls and Expanded Product Range

From 8 to 10 October 2024, Chillventa will reaffirm its role as the central meeting hub for the international refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pump industry. With over 1,000 exhibitors and fully booked halls, this year's event marks a return to pre-pandemic highs, solidifying its status as the top destination for cutting-edge trends in these sectors.

The 2024 edition will offer a larger display area, accommodating more exhibitors from around 50 countries. In addition to the new products and intelligent solutions on display, visitors will benefit from high-caliber expert knowledge shared at the Chillventa CONGRESS and throughout an expanded supporting programme, including forums and special presentations.

"Visitors can expect not only fantastic products and innovations from more than 1,000 leading international exhibitors but also an even more diverse programme designed to help them navigate key industry topics," said Daniela Heinkel, Director of Chillventa at NürnbergMesse. "This year, we have expanded the exhibitor list and product range, especially with more international representation, ensuring that Chillventa remains the premier event for networking and knowledge-sharing."

Key Topics for 2024: Sustainability, Digitalisation, and Energy Transition

The main focus topics for Chillventa 2024 include sustainability, digitalisation, the energy transition, and refrigerants. Special attention will be given to the role of heat pumps and refrigerants in the context of the circular economy and the F-Gas Regulation.

Expert Insights Across Four Forums

Attendees can access around 200 presentations from industry experts in four key forums: “Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Heat Pumps” (Hall 4A), “Refrigeration Technology” (Hall 7A), “Applications, Education & Regulations” (Hall 8), and “A Practical Guide to Digitisation” (Hall 9). Key discussions will cover hot topics such as controlling building services with AI, augmented reality applications, and the impacts of regulatory changes like the planned PFAS ban.

Special Presentations, Competitions, and Guided Tours

Beyond the forums, Chillventa will also feature two special presentations. The German Federal College of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology will host demonstrations on leak detection and tightness tests, while the “AIT Heat Pump Innovation Lounge” will showcase the latest advancements in heat pump technologies. Additionally, visitors can watch the German Championship for Refrigeration Technicians, join guided tours, and explore presentations by leading experts in the field.

Chillventa CONGRESS: In-depth Knowledge from Global Experts

Kicking off the day before the trade fair, on 7 October, the Chillventa CONGRESS offers a deep dive into critical industry topics, featuring international speakers who will provide insights into policy frameworks, sustainability, refrigerants, and the energy transition. Streams on data center air conditioning and heat pump technology trends will also be part of the congress.

Chillventa 2024 is shaping up to be a must-attend event, offering unmatched opportunities for learning, networking, and exploring the latest innovations in refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pumps.
