On June 26, Cool Up participated in the World Refrigeration Day event “Cool Skills – The Coolest Talents” organized by SOSIAD in Türkiye. The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss sustainability in the cooling sector, with a focus on alternative refrigerants, climate policy, and international certification systems.
Cool Up’s country partner UNDP Türkiye took part in the gathering, contributing to the dialogue on advancing sustainable cooling practices in the region.
Zeynep Gökçen Asan of UNDP Türkiye delivered a presentation on the role of emissions modelling in supporting climate goals. Her talk outlined Türkiye’s National Cooling Action Plan and efforts to model F-gas emissions, underlining the importance of data-based strategies for reducing environmental impact.
Cool Up’s participation in the event supports its broader goal of enhancing collaboration and knowledge exchange within the refrigeration industry.
