EPA to Host Webinar on Emissions Reduction and Reclamation Reporting

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a virtual webinar on January 8, 2026, to provide guidance on the reporting requirements under the AIM Act’s Emissions Reduction and Reclamation (ER&R) rule. The session will be conducted via Microsoft Teams and will offer detailed instructions on registration and use of the ER&R reporting platform.

Reporting is mandatory for owners or operators of certain refrigerant-containing appliances or fire suppression equipment, as well as reclaimers, and distributors and wholesalers of reclaimed refrigerants. Reporting for certain provisions under the rule is set to begin on January 1, 2026.

The webinar will start at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. Participants can access the session via Microsoft Teams through a web browser or desktop application. Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are fully supported.

For questions, EPA can be contacted at HFCEmissionsReductions@epa.gov.

The virtual webinar is scheduled to begin at 11AM E.T. Please register to attend.
