Eurovent Certification and COOLPLAN held the fourth Kälte Kolloquium on 21 April 2026 at BMW Welt in Munich, Germany. The event focused on “Sustainable cooling supply in industrial and commercial buildings” and brought together 125 delegates.
The one-day programme was supported by media partners cci Dialog GmbH, KKA, Klima Journal, and Medienstürmer. It included 10 technical presentations, a tour of the BMW Museum, and an evening dinner celebration at Bavarie by Käfer.
The technical agenda covered refrigeration technology in transition, NH3 brine refrigeration systems, propane safety, refrigeration requirements for food retail, in-house training for commercial refrigeration, applied artificial intelligence for refrigeration systems, Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2024/1834, and heat-exchanger performance in supermarkets.

Thomas Maurer; Roman Brüderl from ska GmbH – Gesellschaft für Kältetechnik; Florian Aumair and Manuel Nachbaur from EQUANS Kältetechnik GmbH; Harald Erös from Ingenieurbüro Erös; Prof. Dr. Carsten Kortum from Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, Heilbronn; Andreas Koch from Kaufland Stiftung & Co. KG; Joachim Dallinger from Epta Deutschland GmbH; Víctor Estévez from Gradhoc Smart, S.L.; Dr. Julien Grilliat from ebm-papst Mulfingen GmbH & Co. KGaA & Co. KG; and Thomas Michineau from Eurovent Certita Certification.
The daytime programme was moderated by Gerhard Frei and included coffee breaks and lunch for networking. After the sessions, delegates visited the BMW Museum before an evening reception, private dining event, DJ programme, and rooftop party at BMW Welt.
