The presentation covered clarifications on Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), expected updates from the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), and lifecycle Global Warming Potential (GWP) requirements. Eurovent also highlighted current work within CEN/TC 156 WG 26 and CEN/TC 195 WG 7.
Key recommendations were issued on cPCR for air filters and ventilation units. The assessment of energy at the building level was discussed, including guidance on using Eurovent Recommendation 6/19 for Life Cycle Cost calculations of Air Handling Units.
