Natural Refrigerants Conference 2025: Innovations and Future Trends

The third edition of the Natural Refrigerants Conference, organized by AB Tehnic Profesional, is taking place on March 13-14, 2025, at the World Trade Center in Bucharest. The event brings together approximately 150 refrigeration industry professionals, representing multiple countries across Europe and beyond, including Germany, Italy, Denmark, and Romania.

This year's event combines presentations, practical demonstrations, and an extensive expo, providing an ideal platform for participants to interact directly with innovative technologies and industry experts.

Adrian Balaoi, CEO of AB Tehnic Profesional and event organizer, highlighted the significance of the conference: "This year's conference includes many exciting presentations and innovations. One key highlight is a new refrigeration system presented by a German company,  that uses air as the refrigerant combined with adiabatic cooling for ultra-low temperature applications. Additionally, HB Products, a major participant, will showcase cutting-edge refrigeration technologies, including their unique quality sensors. These sensors represent a significant advancement, offering features unmatched by other products currently available."

Key topics covered during the conference include the future of natural refrigerants, advanced CO₂ and ammonia-based refrigeration solutions, innovative compressor technologies, and specialized refrigeration lubricants. Companies such as Copeland, Bitzer, JCI, SRMTec, HB Products, Scantec, Cofinair, and Intarcon will present their latest solutions and practical case studies.

The conference notably addresses crucial industry trends, such as the end of the F-gas era and the increasing importance of sustainable, energy-efficient, and natural refrigerant systems. Participants will explore emerging solutions through detailed presentations and interactive sessions, allowing them to gain practical insights and network with industry peers and leading specialists.

Adrian Balaoi added: "We intentionally chose a two-year interval to ensure each event offers fresh content and meaningful innovation. Our goal is to strengthen Romania’s position as a growing market for industrial refrigeration, expanding collaboration internationally and continuing to provide a valuable learning experience."

The Natural Refrigerants Conference 2025 underscores the importance of sustainability and innovation in refrigeration, positioning itself as a pivotal event shaping the industry's future.
