Online Cool Training: Learn the Fundamentals and Characteristics of Natural Refrigerants

The comprehensive online Cool Training is available in Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. This course offers an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of refrigeration and explores the characteristics of natural refrigerants.

Green Cooling and Natural Refrigerants

Self-learning online course covers natural refrigerants and energy efficiency. It consists of 18 videos (3-8 minutes each), interactive elements, and downloadable materials. Participants can progress through the videos at their own pace, whether watching them all at once or one per day. A forum is available for participants to ask questions.

Participants who successfully complete the quiz questions and provide feedback will receive a certificate of attendance.

Part 1: Refrigeration Basics

This section explains how refrigerators and other cooling appliances work. It covers the interaction between temperature and pressure, the refrigeration cycle, determining evaporating and condensing temperatures, and other theoretical and practical aspects.

Part 2: Natural Refrigerants

Part 2 details the properties of climate-friendly natural refrigerants such as propane (R290), ammonia (R717), and carbon dioxide (R744). It also provides practical advice on leak testing, handling copper tubes, and other essential skills.

The course offers basic knowledge for beginners as well as advanced information for experts. As a self-learning course, participants can skip sections they are already familiar with or not interested in.
