Open Protocol HVAC/R Solutions on Display at FMI E+SD Conference

Resource Data Management USA (RDM) representatives will be back at FMI’s E+SD Conference to showcase RDM’s industry-leading HVAC/R solutions. Designed based on open protocols and data accessibility, RDM’s HVAC/R control and monitoring solutions have helped renowned companies worldwide manage HVAC/R assets, reduce energy consumption, and ensure regulatory compliance.

RDM experts will be on-site in Baltimore to discuss and exhibit its range of HVAC and refrigeration control and monitoring solutions. This includes unparalleled control and monitoring system front-end DMTouch, remote monitoring software ActiveFM, and the Intuitive range featuring RDM’s CO2 case controllers.

Control and monitoring system front-end DMTouch is based on open protocols which allows third-party integration with existing HVAC/R controllers. It reduces initial set-up costs, helps businesses reduce their embodied carbon footprint, and future-proofs the system. Protocols include Ethernet IP, BACnet, and Modbus. DMTouch also allows open access to data, ensuring that end-users of the device have all site data, such as energy consumption and temperature readings, available when they need it.

ActiveFM is remote monitoring software that helps businesses run their facilities with optimum efficiency estate-wide. It offers energy management capabilities, refrigeration temperature monitoring, and HVAC/R device performance alerts.

The Intuitive range consists of versatile HVAC/R controllers, including CO2 case controllers. Intuitive controllers can manage over 600 points from one device and are available with built-in PLC software. Open protocol communications enable Intuitive controllers to communicate with third-party sensors and equipment. Remote dial-in access allows users to make changes to settings and set points from anywhere with internet access, reducing the need for site visits.
